MERCEDES-BENZ CLA 250 (118) | 2019> 

Gearbox Jobs, No Hassle 

The latest software now includes an Oil Level Check Special Function for the Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 118 with automatic transmission. This function helps pre-condition the gearbox before fluid level measurement, ensuring the transmission is checked under the correct operating conditions.

Operational Steps

From the systems menu select: 

  • Transmission 
  • Functional Tests 
  • Special Functions 
  • Oil Level Check 

Note, the vehicle must already be 'pre-filled' with transmission oil, then while the vehicle is level, in park with the parking brake on and at idle, check the oil level temperature, should be between 40 to 45 degrees Celsius. Once done, follow the screen prompts to complete the procedure.
